Following a season in which Westminster's varsity girls soccer team captured its first district championship since 2019, three Wildcats have been recognized among the state's best with Class 2 All-State honors: freshman defender Grace Matthews, sophomore midfielder Charlie Sgarlata, and junior forward Anna Ramsey.

Grace and Charlie were both named to the Class 2 All-State Team after standout seasons that helped lead Westminster to a 12-7 record and a district title. Junior forward Anna Ramsey also earned statewide recognition, receiving Class 2 All-State Honorable Mention honors.

Grace made an immediate impact in her first high school season, anchoring a Wildcats defense that played a key role in the team's postseason success.

Charlie was a driving force in the midfield throughout the season, contributing on both ends of the field. She was 2nd on the team in goals with 10, while also dishing out 8 assists to lead the team.

Anna's honorable mention selection came after another strong season leading the Westminster attack with 11 goals.

The all-state honors are a fitting recognition for a team that capped off a competitive season with a district championship and quarterfinal berth. Congratulations to Grace, Charlie, and Anna on their well-deserved recognition and for representing Westminster with excellence throughout the season.
