Three Westminster students have been recognized for their artistic achievement after having work selected for inclusion in the 14th Annual Young Artists Exhibition at the St. Louis Art Museum.

Junior Neila Dejtiranukul and seniors Molly Bruce and Adyson Sims earned spots in the prestigious exhibition, which showcases outstanding artwork from talented high school students around the greater St. Louis region. The exhibition opened on Friday, May 1, and Neila, Molly, and Adyson's selected pieces will remain on display at the St. Louis Art Museum until the fall.

This year's Young Artists Exhibition explored the theme "The Edge of What's Next," as judges looked for art that invites participation, prompting action and viewer interaction. Artists were urged to consider whether an ending can also be a beginning, how making art can help someone process change, and whether their work had an ending or would continue to evolve through audience interaction.
