Last week, the freshman class headed to Pinecrest for a day of games, challenges, and lots of rain. Despite the inclement weather, the 9th grade jumped into every activity, enjoying the opportunity to get to know new classmates, reconnect with old friends, and begin building relationships that will shape their high school experience.

Beginning high school is an exciting and, at times, daunting experience, filled with new classes, new responsibilities, and new opportunities. With that in mind, Student Life designed the Freshman Retreat to give students a chance to step away from the classroom and bond together as a class at the very beginning of the year. Rain and all, the inaugural retreat was a memorable start to the year, and we look forward to seeing this new Westminster tradition continue for years to come.
