Upper School

The Upper School strives to help develop the Christian mind and character of students while giving them an exceptional education in grades 9 – 12. The integration of church, home, and school is the distinguishing characteristic of a Westminster Christian Academy education. Although it is a parent’s main responsibility to provide for the Christian training and instruction of children, Westminster’s faculty and staff, as well as the student’s church, serve as “helping hands.” Teachers are dedicated to distinctive, Christ-centered studies that enable students to discover, embrace, and integrate a biblical worldview. The strong college preparatory program includes numerous AP and college credit courses, three foreign languages, and electives in the practical and fine arts. There is also a comprehensive Special Services program for students with diagnosed learning challenges. Numerous cocurricular programs are available, including strong drama and music programs, 16 upper school sports. Guidance programs, including college and career counseling, are available at the upper school.
