Uniform Sale & Swap


The Westminster Uniform Sale & Swap will provide families the opportunity to exchange standardized dress items in preparation for the upcoming school year. The Uniform Sale & Swap will be held in the 7th Grade Commons and will take place at the same time as the Advance Book Sale on the following dates:


August 7, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

August 8, 4-5 p.m.

Parents who wish to resell standardized dress items must drop off all articles of clothing at the table in the 7th Grade Commons between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, August 6. 
Prior to dropping off your items, you must download and print the following two forms.
 
  1. Itemization List (pdf, 89.91KB)
  2. Uniform Tags (pdf, 22.28KB) (for each item to be sold)

Selling Guidelines

Sellers must abide by the following guidelines: 
  1. Only Westminster Lands’ End items are allowed for resale.
  2. No skorts allowed for resale.
  3. Items must be clean and pressed.
  4. Items must be brought in on a hanger.
  5. Shorts are the only item that may be folded.
  6. Each item must have its own tag (print and prepare in advance) 
      either placed over the hanger hook or pinned onto the item.  

When dropping off your items, you must provide the Itemized List of clothing to be sold. Upon registration that day, an identification number will be assigned and added to your tagged clothing. No names will be listed on the garments; this identification number will ensure that you are paid for your sales. Items must be purchased with cash only.
 


Pricing Suggestions for Resale

The list below reflects the Lands’ End School website’s current uniform prices. Please determine a fair price based on the condition (accounting for wear and tear) of your own garment.
 


Polo shirts: $18-$35

Oxford shirts: $25-$30

Shorts and pants: $27-$45

Skirts: $35-$50

Sweaters, sweatshirts and fleeces: $20-$45

If you choose to simply donate your items, proceeds will go to Westminster. Even if you choose to donate, though, please still follow the guidelines above in preparation for registration and drop off.
 


Clothing items will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. All standardized dress items that are not sold must be picked up on Thursday, August 9 between 12 and 4 p.m. or they will be donated to Ditto. Monies will also be paid to sellers at that time.
