Fall Season
First ever Hole - In - One for Girl's Golf
Last evening as the girls golf team was preparing for the upcoming season. Shelby Kehr stepped up to the tee box on the 8th hole at Crescent Farms and took her swing. Her ball took flight into the overcast sky, it landed near the front of the green where it proceeded to bounce onto the green. It then rolled about 20 feet and hit the flag stick and fell into the hole. The 163 yard flight and roll was a sight witnessed by half the Wildcat team. It was Shelby’s first ever Hole in One. It was also the first ever Hole In One made by any member of the girls golf program. Congrats Shelby and good luck to all the Lady Wildcats in their 2010 season!

Four Great Runs at State Cross Country Meet
The cross country team performed very well at the state meet on Saturday, November 7. Freshman Laura Tarantino finished 47 out of 150 runners and senior Julie Sharp just missed all-state honors with a 32nd-place finish. Congratulations to Julie on a fine four-year cross country career in which she made four trips to State. On the boys side junior Danny Keith, though sick, finished a respectable 68 out of 150 runners. The performance of the day, however, was by junior David Everett, who finished third in the Class 3 race. This is the second year in a row that David has earned all-state honors.
