CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS - Girls Golf Team!!
The varsity golf team won their conference tournament Monday by defeating Villa, MICDS, Burroughs and Lutheran South for the title. Jordan Wolf came through in the clutch by again collecting medalist honors in a major tournament. Wolf’s 86 was the best round of the day on the wet Four Seasons golf course. Captain Margaret Moore and Brooke Cusumano tied for third place with scores of 88 each. Junior Ciara Younger placed just one stroke behind her teammates with an 89. Also playing well for the team were Maggie Mauze and Rachael Gantner. Those scores were good enough to help the Cats place 12 strokes ahead of Conference foe Villa and 42 strokes better than MICDS. The Wildcats play two more dual matches this week as they gear up for the District showdown next Wednesday 9/28.
