Westminster Athletes get a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Yesterday, competing in the first Missouri/Illinois Boarder War Track Meet, Daniel Everett finished first in the 800 meters and second in the 1600 meters, while brother David was a winner in the 3200 meters. Congratulations to both guys.
Boys on the "fast track"
In the middle of the busiest week of the year, the boys track team has gotten off to a fast start. On Monday at Duchesne, winners included David Meyer in the 200, Daniel Everett in the 800 and 1600, and Danny Keith in the 3200 and WCA swept through all the relays. Yesterday, the team ran at MICDS and Daniel Everett took home first place honors in both the 800 and 1600.
Please note the location change for today's 4/6 meet.
Due to unfinished construction, the 4/6 meet will be held at Ft. Zumwalt East.

Congratulations to the boys’ track team who opened their track season at Clayton yesterday. Winners included Daniel Everett in the 800 , David Everett in the 1600, Danny Keith in the 3200, and the 4 X 800 and 4 X 400 Relay teams. Great job guys. Congratulations to the Westminster girls track and field team for an excellent season opening track meet last night at Clayton. The Westminster girls took first place as a team thanks to first place performances by Maggee Kane in the 100m hurdles and the high jump, Julie Sharp in the 1600m, Courtney Powell in the long jump and the 400m, and Laura Tarantino in the 800m and the 3200m run. Additionally, the 4X800m relay team of Rebecca Harner, Powell, Lucy Wynn, and Sharp took the gold, as did the 4X400m relay team of Harner, Kane, Kate Krause, and Powell. Great job track and field girls!
