Turner strikes out 13 in WCA win over Clayton
The varsity baseball team defeated Clayton 4 - 0 yesterday to advance to the championship game today against Burroughs at MICDS at 4:15. Jacob Turner struck out 13 Greyhounds and gave up only two hits to win his 7th game of the season. The Cats scored one in the 4th on a sacrifice fly by Jacob Worrell and three more in the fifth on a bunt single by Michael Ferrara, a single by Jacob Turner, a walk to Ryan Allee, a double by Tate Matheny and a Greyhound error.
