Our State swimmers finished strong in the most competitive state meet ever.
Our State swimmers finished strong in the most competitive state meet ever. Premlim finishes were: 200 Medley realy was 41st (Abbie Clark, Haley Bergman, Hannah Worrell and Shay Weststeyn) 50 Freestyle: Annaliese Clark - 23rd 100 Freestyle: Annaliese Clark - 27th Earning All State Honorable Mention: 100 Freestyle: Rebecca Zandstra - 9th 100 Freestyle 400 Freestyle Relay 13th - Katherine Fleissner, Shay Weststeyn, Annaliese clark and Rebecca Zandstra (which broke the school record for the 3rd time this year) Earning All State honors: 200 Freestyle relay - 7th Katherine Fleissner, Shay Weststeyn, Annaliese clark and Rebecca Zandstra and also broke the 8 year old school record. Congratulations to all the swimmers for a great season. Final record of 12 - 4....!!
The swim team routed Principia 105 to 68.
The swim team routed Principia 105 to 68. First place relays included Rebecca Zandstra, Haley Bergman, Hannah Worrell and Annaliese Clark in the 200 Medley, Shay Weststeyn, Caroline thompson, Kendall Vanderslice and Clark in the 200 Free and Clark, Thompson, Weststeyn and Zandstra in the 400. Individual winners were Katherine Fleissner in the 50 and 100 Free, Worrell in the 100 Fly, and Bergman in the 100 Breaststroke. Senior day is Monday at 4:00 p.m.
Another meet goes swimmingly!
Our Westminster swimmers swam past Ursuline 99 to 86 last night. First place relays were Rebecca Zandstra, Haley Bergman, Hannah Worrell, and Annie Clark in the 200 Medley,Zandstra, Clark, Shay Weststeyn and Katherine Fleissner in the 200 Free and Zandstra, Clark, Weststeyn and Caroline Thompson in the 400 Free relay. Individual winners were Bergman in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke, Fleissner in the 50 Free, Julie Sharp in Diving and Weststeyn in the 100 Free. Come join the varsity girl’s swim team for their LAST HOME swim meet on Monday, February 9, where we will recognize our nine outstanding seniors! The meet starts at 4:00, with the Recognition Ceremony around 4:15, after diving.
Please Note the time change for the Sat 1/31 tri meet with MICDS and Lutheran South
The meet will begin at 11:00am.

Our Lady swimmers swept past Incarnate Word and Rosati on Wednesday night 134 to 101 to 92. First place relays were Rebecca Zandstra, Haley Bergman, Hannah worrell and Katherine Fleissner in the 200 Medley, Fleissner, Rebecca Krause, Watson Woodward and Annie Clark in the 200 Free and Shay Weststeyn, Caroline Thompson, Clark and Zandstra in the 400 Free. Individual winners were Fleissner in the 50 Free, Clark in the 100 Free, Zandstra in the 100 Fly and 100 Back and Bergman in the 100 Breaststroke. Great meet next up is Cor Jesu at home on Tuesday.
