Team Districts
The boys' season continues! Yesterday, the fellows defeated Priory 5-1 (and it would have been 6-1, if we had let Nick O'Neal play his match point). A special note: Jimmy Myers returned to the court after his long time on the bench due to a back injury; and the team was glad to have him back and watch him win easily in straigh sets. Hunsicker and DeRousse pulled out their #1 doubles match in 3 sets. Keffer Munson got theirs in straight sets. Hunsicker and Keffer also secured straight set singles wins with solid play all the way around.
But anyway, the team now travels to Fulton, Missouri on Friday. Saturday morning, they will face Fulton, and if they win that match, they will compete against MICDS in the afternoon with hopes to make it to the final four round of the state competition.
