Brothers, Cookout, & a Great Team Cheer
It looked like it might be a rainout; in fact, we even had to get the leaf blower out to dry off the courts for the match. But the LORD gave the sunshine, and the match was on! With a cookout going on in the background, the JV and Varsity teamed together again to pull in a 7-0 win against Lutheran South. Brian Keffer stepped up into the shoes of #1 singles - and Jimmy Munson moved to #2. Johnny Kehr played #3, and Connor Zeilonko @ #4. And all those singles players brought home straight set wins. Then the Hunsicker boys (Joe and John) teamed up to win @ #1 doubles, and the Lillenbergs (Stephen and Seth) paired to win @ #2. And though not related by blood, brothers Caleb Olsen and Robert Thompson paired to win easily @ #3. A fun day in the sun.
