Parents Advancing Westminster (PAW)
What is Parents Advancing Westminster (PAW)?
If your child attends Westminster Christian Academy, then you are a member of PAW! Parent volunteerism and support has long been an essential component of the Westminster community.
Prior to the creation of PAW in 1999, a number of different parent clubs organized and raised funds for various needs of the school community. PAW is designed to bring Westminster parents together to partner and combine our gifts, talents and ideas to bless our school and further its vision.
The organization is directed by a volunteer board that is divided into various committees. Parent couples serve as the vice presidents of each committee, and the presidents coordinate the entire organization.
You don’t have to be a board member to play a vital role in PAW! We always need parents to volunteer to answer phones, coordinate mailings, pray for our school community, serve concessions, help students and teachers during Spirit Week and for other service opportunities. We would love for parents to use their unique talents to serve the Westminster community.
