An important change re: Spirit Week 2009 at Westminster:
Spirit Week 2009 at Westminster Christian Academy is quickly approaching Feb. 2-6, and we wanted to alert you of an important change.
To accommodate the anticipated large attendance, Westminster has established a plan that will help alleviate some of the stress of overcrowding.
Westminster will hold its first-ever Spirit Week Community Night on Thursday, Feb. 5. Anyone and everyone can attend the following events; however, Westminster has encouraged its own students to attend the Friday night "finale" of Spirit Week rather than this Thursday night event. This should provide ample room for the community to enjoy the competition.

4:30 p.m. $5 "Meal Deal" in the cafeteria
6 p.m. Doors open to New Gym
6:30 p.m. Presentations from each class for Blue Man Stomp,
Boys Poms, and Lip Sync
2) Afternoon performances during the school day will be limited to Westminster students, employees, and ticket holders only (in previous years, these performances were open to the entire community, causing overcrowding in the New Gym). Each student participating in the following three events will receive two tickets to give to the two guests of his or her choice. Guests must present their tickets to gain admittance to these performances.

Boys Poms: 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5
Lip Sync: 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6
Westminster believes this improved schedule of events will better accommodate the entire community of Wildcat fans while ensuring safety and promoting fun. You are also welcome to attend the Friday night finale of Spirit Week, featuring varsity basketball and the top two teams in each of the three categories.
