Financial Aid

We strive to steward well the resources that God provides for our students by offering need-based financial aid. Westminster does not offer any academic, fine arts, or athletic scholarships. Our financial aid program is intended to help close the gap between the amount a family can afford and the cost of a Westminster education. We expect every family to contribute some portion of their student’s tuition and additional school expenses.

For the 2009-2010 academic year, we were able to assist 22% of the student body by awarding a total of $1.3 million in financial aid. The average award for a family with an income of less than $70,000 is $8,200 per student. A family that earns $70,000 to $100,000 received an average award of $5,700 per student. Families that earn more than $100,000 received an average of $3,900 per student.

We take many factors into consideration when determining a family's ability to pay tuition, including income, assets, general living and medical expenses, financial obligations, number of dependents, and ages of parents. Please also note that each case is evaluated individually. Therefore, families in the same income range may have different overall financial circumstances and consequently receive different amounts of financial aid.
