Part-Time Art Teacher

Saemmul Middle School Bible Teacher
Saemmul Middle School, Westminster's sister school in Seoul, South Korea, seeks a Bible teacher. A degree in Bible is recommended, although teacher certification is not required. The position will begin on September 1, 2010, and end on July 17, 2011, with a two-month break from December 22 to February 22. Lodging will be provided. Westminster Named Small-School Sports Program of the Year
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch recently noted Westminster's athletic accomplishments during the 2009-2010 school year by naming us the Small-School Sports Program of the Year!
Students Recognized for National Spanish Examination Performance
Several students recently attained national recognition for excellent performance on the 2010 National Spanish Examinations. Sophomore Gordon Younkin took first place in the St. Louis chapter and freshmen Valerie Chavez earned first place in the St. Louis chapter amongst bilingual Spanish speakers. Freshman Josh Ortiz earned a gold medal.
We the People Team Places Ninth
Students in Westminster's AP Government and Politics class competed in a constitutional hearing competition in Washington D.C. On April 26, in the final round of competition, their excellent preparation and presentations earned the team ninth place in a field of 50 teams.
Admissions
New Student and Parent Orientation
All new students and their parents are encouraged to attend an orientation program intended to help students transition into Westminster with confidence. Students will meet classmates, read their schedules, locate their classrooms, and ask questions. Student Peer Counselors will host the 7th grade orientation. Upper School Orientation begins at 1:00 p.m. Middle School Orientation begins at 1:30 p.m.
